What is the widget ?
The widget very simply allows you to place the contactify form (that users use to contact you) on your site. So that they no longer have to come to Contactify to send a message to you. This makes your site look more professional, more friendly and is much better than sending them all the way over to Contactify.
Do I need to be a super-programmer to do this ?
Nope. Just need the ability to copy and paste.
Right, what do I do ?
Ok. You need your link number.
1. Get your link number and enter that into the blue box above.
2. Click on the button underneath that blue box (takes you to the widgetbox website)
3. If you are adding it to your webpage, click on 'Get Widget Code' (otherwise just click on the appropriate option and follow the instructions)
4. Copy that code and paste it wherever you want it to appear on your website
5. Done!
It really is that simple!
What can I modify ?
You can modify a few things. Firstly, you can change the message that the user sees when the message is sent. This can be done by editing the relevant option on the widgetbox website.
To change the CSS and thus the appearance of the contactify form. You need to point the widget (again from the widgetbox website) to the relevant CSS file. It needs to point to it directly, e.g. http://www.yourdomain.com/yourcssfile.css - the widget uses information from the BODY tag for general appearance, and then of course you can change the look of the INPUT and BUTTON tags.
Display name, a reminder!
Remember, that instead of having the contact form display your link number you can have it display your name or the name of your business, or in fact anything. Simply click on .login on the contactify homepage and change the display name!
